A single bowl 24 inch Soapstone sink carved from a block of stone, meaning no seams. A nice size prep sink or small kitchen sink. This beautiful Charcoal Marquina soapstone (also known as Steatite) is a metamorphic rock that consists of varying percentages of talc, depending on the quarry from which it is sourced, some will have high %’s talc resulting in a relatively soft stone that may scratch easily, lower %’s of talc are harder and are more scratch resistant, this soapstone from Brazil is on the harder side, thus making it ideal for kitchen sink use. Marquina is very dense with 0% absorption, which means any staining will only be on the surface and can easily be removed, and it’s heat resistant. Historically soapstone was commonly treated with mineral oil, (and most companies still recommend it, we don’t) when applied the oil will darken the color to black, unfortunately treating with mineral oil makes absolutely no sense, because when soap and water are applied the oil will simply wash off, which means you would need to treat your stone after each wash! With todays technology, engineered sealers are food safe and provide much better results, most will last for a year or more. Keep in mind, a sealer is only needed if you want your stone to appear as black. We recommend Enrich and Seal by Aqua Mix. This can be found at many hardware stores and online.

Return Policy
All products are sold as "Brand New" in its original package. Please make sure the merchandise is what you want and it will work with your fixture. If you are not sure, please send us a email for assistance before placing the order.
Buyers Remorse- Buyers may return within 10 days from delivery. Re-stocking charges of 25% will apply. Return freight is responsibility of buyer. Custom orders can not be returned. Buyer must obtain a RMA number, follow the return instructions and pay to have product shipped back to the manufacturer at your own cost.
Damaged Product- Carefully inspect all products as soon as possible. Up to 2 days are allowed for reporting damage
All returned items must be in original packaging, no sign of physical damage, parts shortage, or the return will not be credited to a full amount.

This stone sink is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship (not breakage) for a period of 10 years from the date of sale. The manufacturer will replace or repair such items that may prove to be defective. The manufacturer does not assume liability for labor charges, removal or re-installation expenses, freight or postage, injuries, or incidental or consequential damages resulting from a defective product. Any product problem which results from abuse, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, hardware, proximity to bodies of salt water or accidental damage, are not covered by any warranty set forth.
